Trefoil Guild

Who are we and what do we do?

The clue to what we do is in our strap line “Guiding for Adults” – we carry on where the girls leave off!

The Trefoil Guild is open to all adults over the age of 18 years; in Surrey West we have 16 active Guilds spread all over the County. One of these Guilds, “Out and About” welcomes members from all around the County and beyond. Anyone can belong to as many Guilds as you like with just one subscription payable.

As well as supporting local units, Districts, Divisions and County the Trefoil have their own programmes organised at local level, region and national levels. The activities undertaken are many and varied and will include everything from afternoon tea to Narrow Boating weekends. In Surrey West County Trefoil out members enjoy the Annual Meeting in May every year which takes the form of a short meeting followed by lunch and various activities and ends with afternoon tea. During the course of the year there is always an Autumn Quiz, a Christmas service and a Summer Camp.

Next year is Trefoil’s 75th Anniversary and there are many events being organised at all levels, including outings and challenges all of which are in the planning stage at the moment.
