St Johns District 100 years birthday challenge

In 2018 one of our Brownie Units(1st St Johns) turned 100, and to celebrate they have create this fabulous challenge badge all themed around the number 100. You can lay games, make crafts and celebrate with St Johns and the theme of 100 years.

This outdoor challenge is all about celebrating the great outdoors.

To take part, complete the Monique’s Challenge Record card every time you attend an outdoor guiding event. This could be a unit walk, District or Division outdoor activity or a County, Region or national Event etc.

Geocaching Challenge

What is Geocaching? – Geocaching is a worldwide, high tec treasure hunt, a little like orienteering. You use a GPS (Global Position System) enabled device to locate the treasure (although some caches can be sought using just a map and compass). This challenge badge introduces girls to this wonderful activity.




Surrey West have 3 Rangers and a leader taking part in this Region trip in August and they have created a challenge pack to help fund raise for their trip. They will be completing some volunteering work alongside taking part in excursions to the capital, Kampala, the source of the River Nile and Queen Elizabeth National Park.


ThaILAND 2019 Challenge

Surrey West have members travelling to Thailand this summer. For three weeks they will be working to complete service projects in Singburi and the Northern Hill Tribes of Chiang Rai. This challenge badge contains activities to inspire your units to learn about Thailand and its marvellous culture.
