An out of this world opportunity to talk live to the crew of the International Space Station
Girlguiding Surrey West assisted by the Radio Society of Great Britain and Brooklands Museum have been lucky enough to secure a live link up with the International Space Station on Saturday 5th October 2024.
We are looking for 10 girls from Brownies, Guides or Ranger units to ask questions of the crew along with an audience of 100 girls to watch the live link up at Brooklands Museum.
The event will be free to all winners and they will be able to spend the whole day at the museum. There will also be other Girlguiding Space activities at Brooklands that day and the whole experience will be broadcast live on YouTube.
To select our spacecraft communicators and audience we are launching a competition for all GGSW Brownies, Guides & Rangers.

Deadline for entries is 1st July 2024.
Individual girls are very welcome to take part, this is a county event so you do not need to attend with your unit if you are selected.
