Volunteer Vacancies

The Chair of Growth will develop and provide oversight and strategic direction for Growth + Retention in the county by developing mechanisms and support to help grow numbers of girls and volunteer in the County. Report back to the Management Team and Trustees on progress. Work alongside the County Steering Group (made up of Division Commissioners and other county post holders) and our County Administrator for Commissioner support to promote growth.

The Chair will work closely alongside the Assistant and County Commissioner and Management Team in regard to driving forward the strategic direction of the county, producing policy to assist their role (where appropriate).

The Chair of Growth for Girlguiding Surrey West is appointed by the County Commissioner.

Opportunity to join a team support safeguarding, compliance and complaints within the Girlguiding Surrey West.

Do you have skills that could help in supporting a team to manage these issues within county? In working in a team you will share your knowledge, support the County Commissioner and participate in investigations (where appropriate) to ensure we offer the best outcomes for these cases. You will be required to have Level 3 Safe Space and in interest in completing Level 4.
